Our Honeymoon: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

We left early Monday morning for our wonderful honeymoon in Punta Cana at the Excellence Resort!  It was truly a memorable trip with lots of sunshine, good food and drinks, and lots of relaxing!  

Our days started with a delicious breakfast (and a mimosa-or three-of course) either at the buffet or at the beach front tiki restaurant. We then would head to the pool, pick our spot, and park it for the day!  Evenings were spent relaxing at dinner and enjoying the entertainment! When Sunday rolled around we were sad to say good-bye to the beautiful beach, weather, and resort! Here are some pictures of our adventures!

We spent all of our time getting some R&R by relaxing by the pool and beach. We didn't go on any excursions (even the ones that were included in our stay!) as we were perfectly content by the bar and water! We had a fabulous time and are looking forward to a return trip!

THE BIG DAY

For the ladies - the hair dresser arrived at 7am...it was an early morning of quick showers, hair, make-up, and memories.

For the guys--they had a less scheduled morning involving heading to The Quarry to make sure that all things were a go, shaving, and getting dressed.  Jason had his mom deliver my wedding present as well a beautiful wedding day letter.

By noon the photographer was taking photos and the limo was shuttling the guys to the church!

Music started at 2 and the bridesmaids and groomsmen headed down the aisle at 2:30--after a wonderful ceremony an amazing evening of celebration began.

After an amazing evening the last dance was announced and we all danced the night away to Michael Buble, 'Save the Last Dance.' We then ended the night with a sparkle!

An after party at the Piero household for brunch and opening gifts!  There was plenty of food, family, friends, and happiness!
